Spring Magic and Blossoms
Around Brixen, things get colorful – apple blossoms, spring scents, and gentle sunbeams beckon you outdoors. Ideal time for valley hikes, e.g., to the Neustift Monastery complex or along the Eisack Promenade.
High Up in Summer
Hike through blooming alpine meadows, enjoy the Dolomite view on the Plose circular trail, or exert yourselves on the mountain bike trail. The heat? Stays down in the valley.
Autumn Gets Colorful & Active
The clear air, golden forests, and perfect visibility – now is the best time for scenic hiking trails. A must-do in autumn is Törggelen, when autumn colors, chestnut scent, and wine aromas meet.
White & Wonderful in Winter
Skiing, tobogganing, snowshoeing – the winter on the Plose is diverse. Afterwards, it gets quiet: Come back, switch off, and enjoy the winter tranquility at Niederhof.

In the morning, stroll through Brixen’s old town, browse small shops, and enjoy an espresso in the sun. Afterwards, take the cable car up to the Plose, enjoy a leisurely hike at the top, stop for a bite, and recharge with dumplings & a view. With the mountain carts or the Plosebob, you’ll speed back down into the valley. And in the evening? Another round of relaxation at the Acquarena adventure pool or a glass of South Tyrolean wine in the center.
At the end of an eventful day, it’s time to: Come home to your apartment at Niederhof.

The Plose is a true bike paradise: With e‑power or the cable car, you can comfortably go up to alpine pastures, panoramic spots, and cosy refreshment stops. For action fans, there’s the Plose Bike Park with challenging downhill lines and the spectacular Plose Looping – flowing, demanding, exciting. Bikes are available to rent at the valley station.
